and Los Alamos County

Volunteers planted 300 aspen seedlings on September 13

Volunteers helped create aspen groves on the edge of Los Alamos

The Volunteer Task Force acquired 1,000 aspen seedlings for and ecological restoration project on County land along the Perimeter Trail. About 750 seedlings have been planted by the Los Alamos High School Class of 1983, the YMCA Earth Service Corps, New Mexico Women in Science, and community volunteers.
